in 60 x 40cm (24” x 16”) tiles x 1.5cm (5/8”) thickness

History:                  Vix Blue dates back to the early Jurassic period (approximately 140 million years ago). Due to its hardness it was only used for architectural features; however with the development of modern cutting techniques it is now possible to use this rock hard material as a tile.

Character:           A very hard fine grain honed limestone with mid grey background and light brown veining. There are also some attractive fossil deposits.

Usage:                   Interior and Exterior.

Notes:                    Especially suited when used alongside light wooden kitchens or contemporary designs involving lots of stainless steel accessories. Due to its extreme hardness it can be laid anywhere. Suitable for any high traffic area such as kitchens or entrances.
