History:                  Quarried in stone-pits that date back to the Early Cretaceous period, 80-90 million years ago, Bulgarian limestone has been quarried for over a hundred years now, with a history of use throughout the Danube region.

Character:           A dense compact ivory white stone with occasional light veining. The surface is smooth and slightly polished.

Usage:                   Interior and Exterior.

Notes:                    Its elegant understated character makes Bulgarian Limestone ideal for formal areas, especially in Georgian style properties. It is the only white limestone tile that we would recommend for a kitchen, being durable and extremely hard wearing. Bulgarian Yellow, a parchment yellow-ivory coloured alternative, is also available from the same quarry.
