Antiqued Distressed Bourgogne Limestone

in 40 and 50cm (16” and 20”) random lengths x 2cm (3/4”) thickness

History:                  Antiqued Distressed Bourgogne Limestone is based on antique floors found throughout this region. This was used throughout the mid 17^th and 18^th centuries in grand properties and châteaux deemed important enough to warrant the use of selected blocks of stone for their floors.

Character:           Designed to flatter period or traditional contemporary properties. The tile is kept reasonably consistent with minimal veining. The colour is a variety of warm ochres and beiges. The surface has been softly aged to reflect many years of domestic wear.

Usage:                   Interior and Exterior.

Notes:                    Ideal for a property where a traditional flooring material is required. The warmer tones lend themselves to more homely properties. Excellent for hardwearing areas such as kitchens and entrance hallways.
