antiqued distressed bourgogne

Antiqued Distressed Bourgogne Limestone

in 40 and 50cm (16” and 20”) random lengths x 2cm (3/4”) thickness

History:                  Antiqued Distressed Bourgogne Limestone is based on antique floors found throughout this region. This was used throughout the mid 17th and 18th centuries in grand properties and châteaux deemed important enough to warrant the use of selected blocks of stone for their floors.

Character:           Designed to flatter period or traditional contemporary properties. The tile is kept reasonably consistent with minimal veining. The colour is a variety of warm ochres and beiges. The surface has been softly aged to reflect many years of domestic wear.

Usage:                   Interior and Exterior.

Notes:                    Ideal for a property where a traditional flooring material is required. The warmer tones lend themselves to more homely properties. Excellent for hardwearing areas such as kitchens and entrance hallways.
