Antique Reclaimed Blond Barr Limestone

in random sizes x 3cm (1-1/4”) thickness

History:                  Antique Blond Barr is the sister stone and lighter alternative to Antique Grey Barr. This was used in its early days as a flagstone floor throughout Provence.  The material is now very rare and hence much sought after.

Character:           Reclaimed from old properties and manoirs in and around Provence, this floor looks superb in grand surroundings where it is important to make a statement. It is also equally well suited for large kitchens, due to its traditional flagstone shape. Colour varies from light beige to sand and ochre tones with some occasional darker flecks.

Usage:                   Interior.

Notes:                    Each selection is a mixture of smooth and worn pieces; these vary from batch to batch. As antique floors are thoroughly cleaned back when being reclaimed, it is necessary to allow a few months of wear before the antique floor’s original patina starts to return.
