Antiqued distressed Bourgogne clair

Antiqued Distressed Bourgogne Clair

in 35cm, 42cm and 51cm (14”, 16-1/2” and 20”) random lengths x 2cm (3/4”) thickness

History:                  The dimensions of Bourgogne Clair are those that were in use from the 15th through to the 18th centuries in and around the Burgundy region.

Character:           A dense compact warm grey ochre mixture

of stones. The surface is aged, but not excessively so, by a process that allows the stone to be hand distressed and rubbed. This enhances the antique look of the product.

Usage:                   Interior and Exterior.

Notes:                    This understated limestone sits well in most traditional properties. It’s especially hard, so ideal for schemes where the stone is used internally and then continued externally, for example around a swimming pool. This material is frequently used in the fabrication of architectural features such as ballustrating and staircases.
