Aged and Antique Reclaimed Timber We specialise in the reclamation and restoration of French timber from past times. A large proportion of the wood that we recover is from the 17th and 18th centuries. This is carefully restored by one of the leading ateliers in this field. Great care is taken to design a floor that fits the individual room, and as such we can now offer copies of many famous antique floors. Our aged range is produced in the traditional way, and specially worked by hand rubbing the wood in a variety of ways to suit the required design. To maintain our commitment to the environment we ensure that any new timber used is purchased only from PEFC-certified suppliers. All timbers are fully kiln dried in our French atelier's kilns.
