Antique Reclaimed Blanc Rose Terracotta

History:       From farmhouses to chateaux, antique terracotta tiles were hand made and fired in wood burning kilns across France in the 17^th and 18^th centuries.

Character:  Pinker varieties were found around the Loire region, whereas darker, richer ones were fired in Burgundy. Likewise the earth and firing techniques in the Provence region produced a more muted and at times buff yellow tile.

 Usage:      Interior.

 Notes:       Due to the nature of antique materials tiles will vary from batch to batch.

Ideal for use in kitchen and conservatories; we now reclaim the rarest as well as the most popular.
